KARACHI: The sugar millers and wholesalers have agreed to sale sugar at a price of Rs.40/ kg during a meeting with interior secretary.

Chairman Karachi wholesale grocers association Anees Majeed told Geo News that sugar mill owners will sale sugar at Rs.36/kg to those wholesalers of Sindh who are enroll in income tax and sales tax. Similarly, wholesalers will get the sugar at Rs. 38/kg so that it will be available for consumers and retailers at a price of Rs.40/kg.

Anees Majeed said sugar mills also organize fair price stalls in their areas where people will purchase the sugar at Rs.40/kg.
