KARACHI: The cotton prices have been sliding for three consecutive days in open market as total Rs175 have gone reduced on 40 kilogram, leavings its price at Rs3,475 on Wednesday, Geo news reported.

This was stated by the chairman Karachi Cotton Brokers Forum (KCBF) Naseem Usman while talking to Geo news.

He said the recent swift decline in cotton prices in open market have been caused by increase in supply and decrease in demand.

Nassem was of the view the annual vacations are being observed in China now-a-days, thus cutting short the demand in international market.

He predicted more decline in cotton prices in some days to come.
